Craig Griebel, M.D.
Dr. Griebel was born in Mankato, Minnesota, the youngest of
six children. After attending college at Valparaiso University,
he received his medical degree from the University of
Missouri-Columbia. He completed his family practice training at
the Mercy/St. Luke’s (now Quad Cities Genesis) Family Practice
Residency Program in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Griebel was in private
practice in Wisconsin for 10 years before moving to Naperville,
Illinois to join the faculty at the Provena St. Joseph Family
Practice Residency Program. He joined the faculty of the
University of Illinois-Peoria Family Practice Residency at the
Methodist Medical Center of Illinois in 2002. Dr. Griebel enjoys
all areas of family practice, but especially enjoys obstetrics
and pediatrics. He is certified by the American Board of Family
Practice and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family
Physicians.
Dr. Griebel and his wife, Cheryl, have three children: Tyler,
Christopher, and Emily. His outside interests include coaching
youth soccer, bicycling, and racquetball.
