Jared Rogers, M.D.
Dr. Rogers was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He graduated Summa
Cum Laude from Western Illinois University in 1975 and from
Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1978.
After completing his residency at Silas B. Hays Army Community
Hospital, Fort Ord, California, he spent six more years in the
U.S. Army including four years in a command position of a
medical detachment in Germany. Subsequently, he was in private
practice in Puyallup, Washington for five years before returning
to Illinois and engaging in private practice in Mendota for over
ten years.
A long-time desire to teach led him to pursue a faculty position
a the University of Illinois College of Medicine residency
program based at Methodist Medical Center. He has professional
interests in office surgical procedures, sports medicine,
geriatrics, and endoscopy. He and his wife, Jan, have six adult
children. Dr. Rogers enjoys running, music, reading, skiing,
landscaping, and spending time with his wife, children, and
grandchildren.
