Daniel R. Fassett, M.D., M.B.A.
Interim Head,
Residency in Neurological Surgery


Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria

 

Dr. Fassett joined the Department of Neurosurgery on August 1, 2007 as Assistant Professor. In June of 2008 he was appointed Associate Head for the department. Dr. Fassett received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia where he was inducted into the AOA. He completed a Neurosurgery Residency from the University of Utah Hospital and a Combined Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Fellowship from Thomas Jefferson University.

In addition to his medical background, Dr. Fassett also holds a MBA from Augusta State University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University.

He will be specializing in complex spine.
