 The
University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOM-P)
Residency in Diagnostic Radiology is based at OSF Saint
Francis Medical Center (OSF SFMC). This institution is a 731
bed level 1 trauma center with integrated adult and
pediatric hospitals that services 2.25 million people across
central Illinois. The medical center is the fourth largest in
the state. The residency uniquely
combines the educational resources of a major university
with the clinical resources of a large tertiary teaching
hospital to offer a comprehensive program in graduate
medical education.
The principal goal of the UICOM-P Diagnostic Radiology
Residency Program is to produce well-trained radiologists,
competent in all aspects of medical imaging. We firmly
believe that the graduates of our program will be well
equipped to maintain their competency in a rapidly advancing
field of medicine, in either the academic or private
practice setting.
