Dr. David Crawford, a native of Indiana, received his
undergraduate degree from Hanover College in Hanover,
Indiana. He received his doctorate in medicine from the
University of Louisville School of Medicine, Louisville,
Kentucky. He completed a Surgical Internship and General
Surgery Residency at the Abington Memorial Hospital in
Abington, Pennsylvania. Dr. Crawford completed a Minimal
Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Crawford is board certified
in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery, Chief,
Section of Minimal Invasive Surgery, and Co-Director of the
Basic and Advanced Laparoscopic Skills Courses and the
Robotic Skills Course for the General Surgery Residency.
Dr. Crawford lives in Peoria with his wife Dr. Kathleen
Crawford and their two daughters.
