OSF SAINT
FRANCIS
‘HOUSE STAFF ANGEL’ AWARD
Each quarter, one resident is chosen by our main teaching facility, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, as
House Staff Angel. The purpose
of this award is to recognize
resident physicians who provide
outstanding service to patients,
families, visitors and
employees. While it is every
physician’s responsibility to
foster a customer-focused
environment and to have a
positive attitude, individuals
worthy of the 'House Staff Angel
Award' consistently extend
themselves beyond their normal
work responsibilities and
contribute to the overall
Mission of the institution.
General Surgery residents have
won this award for three
consecutive years.
