Surgery

Surgery deals with the treatment of illness or injury by means of operative procedures including manipulation. The Department of Surgery conducts a required eight-week M3 experience. In addition, each student is required to select an additional eight weeks of surgical specialty training. The department is also responsible for a residency program.
